Outgoing US Ambassador to Slovakia, Adam Sterling, not only declared his interest in developing US-Slovak relations, but also actively contributed to spreading information about the potential to develop business, education and culture.

Foreign Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák (a Smer nominee) said this of Sterling on the occasion that marked the end of his diplomatic mission in Slovakia.

“I’d especially like to mention your activities during the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Pittsburgh Agreement, when you, along with your diplomats and colleagues, set off on the America on Wheels roadshow, during which you visited 26 Slovak towns and informed the public about the opportunities to develop bilateral relations,” Lajčák said, as quoted by the TASR newswire.
