A DRUNKEN pensioner went on the rampage on a train February 6 and assaulted a conductor when she asked for the man's ticket.
The 70-year-old man, who police have not named, was drunk and abusive on a train near the northern Slovak town of Liptovský Mikuláš.
Witnesses say the man exploded in anger when asked to show his ticket, beat the woman and then started swearing at her. Transport police were called immediately and arrested the man.
He was found to have 1.29 parts per thousand of alcohol in his blood, the equivalent of having drunk around six pints of beer.
