The price of petrol in Slovakia fell by an average of 35 hellers per litre between August 10-20, while the price of diesel remained unchanged, the Statistics Office said on August 27.
The price of 95-octane petrol fell by 36 hellers to Sk38.11 (€1.13) per liter, while 98-octane petrol was down by 34 hellers to Sk40.77. The price of diesel remained flat at Sk37.35 per litre, while liquid petroleum gas (LPG) rose by 1 heller to stand at Sk20.09.
The prices of 95- and 98-octane petrol rose in July by an average of 0.54 percent month-on-month (95-octane by 0.62 percent and 98-octane by 0.46 percent), while the price of diesel rose by 0.61 percent on a monthly basis. TASR
