Poll: Young Slovaks have no faith in politicians

A POLL published yesterday by the European Commission shows only 28 percent of young Slovaks are interested in and follow politics.

Among youth in the EU, Germans pay the most attention to politics, but are the most skeptical about their country’s future. Slovaks, despite their lack of interest, are among the most optimistic, the SME daily wrote.

Slovaks are the only group in the EU, however, to show almost a total lack of faith in their individual politicians and political parties.
