Pravda: Mitsubishi considers investment in Slovakia

Japanese carmaker Mitsubishi is considering the possibility of investing in Slovakia, the Pravda daily wrote in its Saturday issue. Head of the board of directors of Mitsubishi Corporation Yorihiko Kojima and a delegation of Japanese managers held talks with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico and hisministers in Bratislava on Friday, May 24.

General Director of the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) Róbert Šimončič said, as quoted by Pravda, that they did not speak about specific details but confirmed Slovakia can offer excellent conditions to Japanese companies for investing. He recently reported that five companies are considering investing in Slovakia while at least one of them is to be from Japan. More specific details of the investment are not known for the time being.
