President trusts police and prosecutors dealing with Kuciak murder case

Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová fully trusts the investigative team and the prosecutors who are supervising the investigation of the murder of Ján Kuciak and Martina Kušnírová.

“The Special Prosecutor's Office confirmed today that there is still significant knowledge about crimes of state body representatives,” Čaputová said, as quoted by the TASR newswire, as a reaction to the press conference that the prosecutors held on August 19.

Čaputová is convinced, much like the investigators and prosecutors, that it is in the interest of the investigation that people linked to the suspicions come to the police to testify.
