The cost of a newly-built apartment in Bratislava has dropped by 14-15 percent year-on-year, Michal Zajíček from the Lexxus real estate agency told a press conference on Tuesday, October 25.
"Prices have continued to fall in the past two quarters of the year," Zajíček said, as quoted by the TASR newswire, attributing the trend in part to the number of special offers on the market. He said that the average price of a newly-built flat in Bratislava dropped by €25,000 during the most recent quarter of the year, but added that, despite this, increased activity by real estate developers has been seen, with a total of 25 new projects involving the construction of new flats launched over the past three months.
