PSA starts recruitment for second production plant

THE PSA Peugeot Citroën car assembly plant in Trnava has started a recruitment drive for a second production center. By 2010, the center will employ 1,800 people, bringing the total number of factory employees to 5,300, SITA wrote.

The company plans to target universities in Trnava and Bratislava because there will be many jobs available for technical university graduates.

In 2006, the plant will produce around 60,000 cars. The second plant could help that to grow to around 240,000 in 2007.

PSA should reach full production capacity in 2008.
