Unfortunately, the older generation of Slovaks still seem to have the past treatment of the Hungarians imbedded in them - especially that era when most Slovak schools were closed and the Slovak language was not allowed to be heard or spoken.

I believe, with the coming of age of the new generation, that these bad feelings will die out.

Time is the great healer, and it is past due to bury the hatchet and live in peace with one another. Let's only hope it is sooner rather than later in this regard.
