A helicopter roared above the peaceful Slovak town of Žiar nad Hronom, as some 1,500 dark-skinned people went to see 18-year-old Mário Goral on his way to the city graveyard.

Goral died 10 days after his 40 skinhead assailants knocked him unconscious and set him on fire. They made sure he would burn well, spilling over him fuel in which they had dissolved polystyrene. Police said this solution sticks to the skin making burns deeper. Goral suffered 60% burns all over his body and to his respiratory system.
