A Slovak delegation, headed by Defence Minister Jaroslav Baška, left for an informal meeting of NATO defence ministers in Istanbul on Thursday, February 4, the SITA newswire wrote.
The two-day talks are to focus on three priority areas: the restructuring of the alliance, troop levels in Kosovo and the ongoing United Nations-mandated International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) mission in Afghanistan.
The Slovak delegation features Slovakia's Ambassador to NATO František Kašický, Director General of the Section of Defence Policy, International Affairs and Legislation Július Demetrian and Chief of Staff of the Slovak Army, General Ľubomír Bulík. SITA
