Police officers from the Office for the Fight Against Organised Crime (ÚBOK) and their colleagues in Košice say they have succeeded in detaining an important local cocaine dealer and his accomplice. They say the pair were in the process of selling 180 grams of cocaine but when caught red-handed in a parking lot in front of a hotel in Košice.
The seized amount was estimated to have a street value of some €163,000. A court has already agreed to remand Najibullah H., a Slovak resident with Dutch nationality, and his associate Milan A., from Revúca, in custody. Both men face drugs-related charges which carry sentences of between ten and fifteen years in prison. The same men already have numerous previous convictions, police presidium spokeswoman Denisa Balogová said, as reported by the SITA newswire.
