THE ANTITRUST Office (PMÚ) imposed a Sk10 million (€251,509) fine on Slovak Telecom (ST) last week for refusing to determine and reserve interconnection points for firms on its network, the SITA news agency reported.
The PMÚ studied seven cases in which firms had been refused the means of submitting proper documentation to reserve interconnection points on the ST network.
When applying for construction permits, firms must submit complete construction documentation, which also contains the interconnection plan for the public telecommunications network.
The ST is obliged to determine and reserve the interconnection points.
ST is considering an appeal against the fine.
