Slovakia’s intelligence service will have a new head.
President Zuzana Čaputová appointed Vladimír Pčolinský, nominated by the coalition Sme Rodina party, to lead the Slovak Information Service (SIS) intelligence agency.
He will replace Anton Šafárik, who had been at the helm of SIS since summer 2016. Pčolinský is brother of Sme Rodina MP Peter Pčolinský.
