The weather in Slovakia will be boiling hot until Friday

The SHMÚ has issued a weather warning mostly for western Slovakia.

Western Slovakia will endure another heatwave this week, with temperatures expected to climb to 34 degrees Celsius.

The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) has thus issued first-level warnings in a number of districts in the west of Slovakia for July 24 and 25, and even a second-level warning for some districts on July 26.

On July 24, the temperature is expected to rise to 33 degrees Celsius between 14:00 and 18:00 in the entire Bratislava Region and southern districts of Trnava, Nitra and even the Banská Bystrica Region.

The temperature should climb to 34 degrees Celsius the following day, which is why SHMÚ issued the first-level warning for the entire Bratislava and Trnava Regions, plus the western districts of Trenčín Region and Banská Bystrica Region.
