US hockey fans learning Slovak from Márian Hossa

A SWARM of Slovak journalists inadvertently blocked American counterpart Peggy Kusinski of NBC Chicago from interviewing Chicago Blackhawks player Marián Hossa, the sport.aktuality.sk portal reported on June 4, leading the station's live broadcast to switch to Slovak.

“The last two minutes of NBC Chicago’s news broadcast is a great reminder of how amazing local TV is,” tweeted Tom Fornelli, the College Football Writer for CBS Sports in response.

Kusinski tried to approach Hossa in the locker room after Tampa Bay - Chicago by Slovak journalists showering him with their questions. The camera was already rolling allowing the viewers to taste the beauty of the Slovak language.
