Concert for Banská Štiavnica

Monday, April 17 at 17:30 at the Old Market Hall, Námestie Nežnej Revolúcie, Bratislava.

Following a fire in Banská Štiavnica a few weeks ago, during which several old houses were destroyed, Bratislava wants to help. On Monday, artists like Korben Dallas, Puding Pani Elvisovej, Jana Kirschner and others will play concerts at Stará Tržnica (Old Market Hall).

Hike to Veľká Baňa

If the rain is not heavy this weekend, put your waterproof clothing and shoes on and set out on a short hike through a forest park (lesopark) in Bratislava.

Bus 43 from Patrónka will take you to the Lesopark stop, where you can start the trip. Walking through the forest, you will eventually reach Veľká Baňa. It is an unmarked hill above Bratislava's Rača borough with an altitude of 444 m above sea level.

After reaching the hill, you will head down to the Detvianska tram stop. The trip is around 12 km long and should take about 4 hours.

Jazz concert

April 14 at 18:00, at the Austrian Cultural Forum on Hodžovo Square 1/A, Bratislava.

Osztriga Band's harmonic, melodic, and rhythmic sophistication mostly comes from a fusion of Eastern European roots with African-American jazz. They play their originals, but also classics and jazz pieces in which they look for adventure, beauty and swing.
