A private investor is building a new lookout tower near a compound with ski jumps. Štefan Bieľak from the Štrba municipality said that the tower with a diameter of more 33 metres will be more than 53 metres high.
It will have 10 storeys and four lookout platforms. One part will be accompanied by an adrenaline net and transparent floor at the top of the tower.
The entrance to the emergency staircase is designed like a toboggan, said Bieľak. The capacity of the lookout tower is 500 visitors.
There will be an entrance with cash desk in the tower, the museum of Tatra National Park (TANAP), café, gift shop and bathroom.
