Everyone who has been in the High Tatras is familiar with the iconic look of Štrbské Pleso mountain lake with a view of the mountain hotel and the hills beyond. The only way to access the water so far is to rent a boat.
The lake has frozen with temperatures below zero and tourists visiting the Tatras in the winter season may walk across the lake or even do cross-country skiing.
