Bratislavans can cool down in swimming pools and lakes on hot days. The vast majority swimming spots are open and accessible to the public.

The following summer swimming pools are open: Rosnička in Dúbravka and Lamač, Tehelné Pole in Nové Mesto and Delfín in Ružinov. Zlaté Piesky is also operating. Krasňany and Rača swimming pools are closed. Matadorka should open in the second half of June and Mičurin on July 1.
Lakes
Bratislavans can swim in lakes, like Draždiak in Petržalka. A water rescue service will be operating from June 27 to the end of August.
Kuchajda in Nové Mesto is preparing for the season. Whether it will be open to the public will be clear after a water analysis, said Rudolf Kusý, mayor of the borough.
Popular places for Bratislavans to bathe are Rusovské Lake or Small Lake near Čunovo.
