CAMP:RE-ENACTMENTS of Knights’ Camp – Knights’ Mounted Tournaments at the historical site of Devín near Bratislava include historical fencing, period dances, crafts, coin minting and period food and beverages that used to be enjoyed on festive occasions. On July 6, the event organised by Tovarišstvo Starých Bojových Umení a Remesiel (Guild of Old Martial Arts and Crafts) and the City Museum Bratislava, starts at 11:00. DISCUSSION: TEDxBratisla-va – The fifth year of this conference that focuses on innovation, creativity, new technologies and ideas worth spreading around, will see, among other things, designer and engineer Štefan Klein, dancer Jaro Viňarský, Icelandic traveller Vilborg Gissurar-dóttir, US photographer Nan-cy Ann Coyne and others. FESTIVAL: MAZAL Tov Košice, the festival of Jewish culture, this year offers a new project, the Jewish Music of Visegrad, featuring bands from Slovakia (Kaschauer Klezmer Band), Hungary (Budapest Klezmer Band), Poland (Max Klezmer Band) and the Czech Republic (reading of blogger Beáta Beregrad to the music of EldoraRe). The festival also offers a photo exhibition, a tour of Jewish sites in the city, a quiz, and traditional Jewish cuisine and kosher wines. Events take places in various venues between July 4 and 6, with the guided tour on August 2-3. Tickets can be bought via Ticketportal, MiC Košice or one hour in advance at the site.
