Emília Sičáková-Beblavá of TIS suggests that it is not probable that potential bidders cancel their planned winter holidays only to meet deadlines. On average, every five minutes there was a new tender announced on December 23, totaling 101 new tenders, Sme wrote on December 30. This is about four times more than on a usual day. Out of them, 27 tenders, worth a total of €16 million, have deadline as soon as on January 12. A similar flood of tenders have come pre-Christmas last year.
