12.67% stake in insurer Slovenská Poisťovňa traded

On October 12, 190,000 shares of Slovenská Poisťovňa (SP), the biggest insurance company in Slovakia, changed hands via a direct transaction on the floor of the Bratislava Stock Exchange. The deal involved a 12.67% stake in SP, the new owner paying 1,536 Slovak crowns per share, and 292 million crowns for the whole stake. During the last transaction with SP shares, the new owner acquired them for 867 crowns per share.

In September, the owner of the 12.7% SP stake was steelmaker VSŽ Košice.
