Japan's EXIM Bank approved its third loan for the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS) in the last week of July, worth 20 billion JPY (5.94 billion Sk). The NBS will evaluate the loan contract before the end of August. The loan is designed for commercial banks operating in Slovakia, selected by the EXIM Bank of Japan. The first part of the new loan will most likely be extended this September. The first Japanese EXIM Bank loan to the NBS was 4.290 billion JPY and was distributed to VÚB, ČSOB, Poľnobanka and Tatra Banka. The second loan of 10 billion JPY was provided to eight banks.
