OVER the past six months, 33 investment projects have been launched in Slovakia, creating some 7,000 new jobs, New Citizen's Alliance leader and Economy Minister Pavol Rusko said at a party news conference on May 1 in Bratislava.
The projects, including the network of suppliers for the major Korean investor KIA/Hyundai, represent investments worth €740 million in total. In addition to the directly created jobs, the projects will indirectly create a further 13,000 jobs in the network of sub-suppliers expected to emerge to meet the needs of the major investors.
