A €30 million industrial park is emerging in Košice

The Panattoni Europe industrial developer has launched the construction of a new eight-hectare industrial park near the Košice airport, with a price tag of €30 million.

“Our region will make the most out of the fact that the industrial park will stand near the airport because it is a strategic location for logistics,” Košice Region Governor Rastislav Trnka said, as quoted by the SITA newswire.

It is the first project for Panattoni Europe in Slovakia, which is funded by the American industrial developer, the Accolade investment group.

“It has great potential, but still lags far behind in the shadow of the rest of the country,” said Accolade operations manager Lukáš Répala about Košice, as quoted by SITA.
