ADVERTISING expenditures in Slovakia reached Sk9.6 billion (€252 million) in 2004, up 24 percent year-on-year, according to estimates by TNS Slovakia and Strategie monthly magazine.
Media advertising represented around Sk6.4 billion (€168 million), up from Sk5.1 billion (€134 million) in 2003, the SITA news agency wrote.
Electronic media cashed in the most, achieving a 48-percent share of the commissioned advertising market share. Print media got a total Sk2 billion (€52 million) of the advertising money.
Mobile operator EuroTel and Orange Slovensko spent the most on advertising in 2004.
