Almost 11,000 farmers apply for aid

OF THE TOTAL 16,000 applications distributed for direct farming subsidies, farmers completed and returned 10,900 to the Agricultural Paying Agency by the May 14 deadline, the private news agency SITA wrote.

After May 14, farmers still have 25 days to send their applications, but these subsidies will be cut by 1 percent for each day they are late.
