A SPECIAL railway truck worth Sk198.2 million (€5.2 million) for the new car plant KIA Motors Slovakia, and KIA's car-component supplier Mobis Slovakia, both situated close to Žilina, will be manufactured by a Bratislava-based company, Alpine Slovakia, the SITA news agency wrote.
According to a bulletin issued by the Public Procurement Authority, Alpine Slovakia reached an agreement with procurer Žilina Invest, which acts on behalf of KIA, on November 24, 2005.
Alpine Slovakia beat off two competitors to win the contract.
