Kia Motors Slovakia launches second generation of its cee'd model. Kia Motors Slovakia in Teplička nad Váhom launches serial production of the second generation of the Kia cee'd and starts to run at full capacity in a three-shift operation.
Eurostat reports Slovakia’s 2011 deficit at 4.8 percent of GDP. Slovakia’s government closed 2011 with a deficit of 4.8 percent of GDP, according to the EU statistics office Eurostat, including loans to state-run hospitals and railway companies as part of the deficit. Without these transfers the deficit would have been 3.9 percent of GDP.
