CARDHOLDING members of the Slovak Bank Cards Association (ZBK) withdrew Sk86 billion (€2.14 billion) in the first half of this year using 34.7 million ATM transactions, the private news agency SITA reported.
In the same period of last year, ZBK cardholders made 31.5 million transactions amounting to Sk71.8 billion (€1.8 billion).
The association operated 1,590 ATM machines at the end of June, up by 11 percent year-on-year. The number of issued payment cards grew 688,305 to 3.4 million.
