The new service centre will create more than 300 jobs. The company has already been running a similar centre in Bratislava since 2002. About 650 Slovaks are currently employed there.

The expansion of AT&T in Bratislava arrives at a time when its rival T-Systems from Germany is promising an expansion in Košice. It wants to boost its current labour force of about 500 in Košice by 100 people by the end of 2008.
