Audits at energy distributors finished

TEN potential investors have finished due diligence audits at three state energy distributors (VSE, ZSE and SSE). Interested parties have until April 12 to submit binding offers for 49 per cent stakes in the firms. While the government now admits it will not be able to complete the privatisation of energy utility Slovenské elektrárne by the end of its term in September 2002, as earlier planned, the separation and sale of the distribution units is seen as launching the overall electricity utility sale.
