ECONOMY Minister Ľubomír Harach has received a letter from his Austrian counterpart, Martin Bartenstein, praising the energy policy of the Slovak government.
The letter, which was received on January 16, stressed the environmental measures the country has taken in order to meet the European Union's energy requirements at the end of last year.
Based on the measures taken by the Slovak government, Austria cancelled its ban on imports of electricity from Slovak nuclear power plants as of January 2002.
