A new regular line from Bratislava Airport to London-Luton will be launched on March 25, 2018, beginning operation three months earlier than originally planned, the TASR newswire reported.

Instead of the planned June 20, the new connection will be launched in March. This route will be operated every day by the Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air, confirmed Wizz Air spokesperson Sorina Maria Ratz.

The daily capacity will increase to 230 passengers from May.

"Since our commitment is to offer affordable connections and respond to customer requirements, we will increase the capacity on this line from May 20, 2018," said Ratz as quoted by TASR.

Wizz Air will operate six airline connections from Bratislava during summer, including to Skopje, Kiev, Warsaw, Tuzla, Sofia and London-Luton. The company has been operating at M.R. Štefánik Airport since March 2016.
