More and more companies are becoming interested in the topic of Corporate Responsibility (CR), and many are asking how to get begin. Therefore, the Pontis Foundation has decided to organise a workshop for companies that would like to get more information about this field. What will the workshop cover?
“We would like to give participants detailed information about the basic terms used in CR, explain the history of CR, discuss stakeholder theory, and practice with them stakeholder dialogue, issue mapping, indicator setting and much more“, said Michal Kišša, program officer at the Pontis Foundation.

Conference: the VI. Annual Conference on Corporate Responsibility will take place on May 14.
The morning will be dedicated to the financial crisis, its origins and its influence on corporate responsibility. The keynote speaker at the morning session, Patrick Mallon of the BITC, will present the evolving situation in the UK with a focus on the financial crisis and its influence on CR programmes and activities by companies.

The afternoon will focus on the connection between CR and brand and how to develop it. Participants will learn about success stories by companies which have gained significantly from acting and communicating responsibly. The keynote speaker will be Yogesh Chauhan, chief CR advisor at the BBC. The last session of the day will be dedicated to business ethics.
