Car parts producer opens factory

RAUTENBACH Slovakia, a producer of car body parts, yesterday opened a renovated 13 million euro factory in central Slovakia to produce parts for car manufacturers Daewoo, Škoda, Porsche and Audi.

Now employing 270 people, the subsidiary of the German Rautenbach will invest a further 30 million euros by 2006, bringing its Slovak workforce to 400 and its output to 600,000 body parts annually.
