Central and eastern Europe not best place to invest for now

From a representative at the central and eastern Europe division of the British company Cable & Wireless: "Many Western telecommunications companies invested too much of their activities in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), as they overvalued the growth potential in this market. Better investment opportunities are now in Asia, the U.S. and western Europe. The situation in CEE countries will improve after they open their markets with the perspective of joining the EU."
