Ceram Čáb, an energy insulators producer located in Nové Sady, had 239 million Sk in sales last year, 9.6 percent more than in 1995, company officials announced. Ceram Čáb exported almost 90 percent of its output mainly to Sweden, the Netherlands, the USA, and the Czech Republic. This year, it expects to have 243 million Sk in sales, management said. Presently, it is beginning to supply a Moscow plant of the Swedish-Swiss consortium ABD Group. The majority owner of Ceram Čáb is the Austrian company Frauenthal Keramik.
