The British Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia received the prestigious The Chamber of the Year 2016 award. It was presented at a gala dinner held on June 15, 2016 at the Underglobe, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.
The award went to the British Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia for the second year in a row.
“This award is a credit to the staff of the chamber and all the hard work that has been put into bringing the chamber to this position,” said Christopher Plant, chief executive of the British Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia, as quoted in the press release.
The judges found that the chamber had gone over and above the requirements for a chamber and that the energy of the chamber could almost be felt emanating from the entry form, the press release reads.
Moreover, the way the chamber looks after its members is unique and that it continued to impress them with remarkable rises in membership and income, according to the judges. They also appreciated the originality of the business portal.
The British Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia has clearly gone over and above the requirements for a chamber of commerce.
“Members appear to have been exceptionally well served across all measures and this shows in their membership development translating into successes with events management and trade development,” the press release reads. “The chamber’s digital communications strategy is fully integrated and considered. This should yield significant traction moving forward and help keep the work of the organisation relevant and useful for its members.”
