The output of the chemical industry in Slovakia reached 38.59 billion Sk last year, a 3 percent increase compared to 1995. Total sales in the sector were 38.63 billion Sk, a 0.6 percent increase. Exports of chemical production also increased 0.6 percent to 25.1 billion Sk.
