WITHIN two years a Chinese hotel, Shanghai, could be built in Bratislava, the news wire SITA reported.
The head of the Bratislava regional government, Ľubo Roman, discussed the issue with Shanghai businessmen during his recent trip to China.
"The businessmen would like to build a hotel that would meet their requirements. It must be taller than other hotels in Bratislava and offer services in line with Shanghai parameters," said Roman.
He expects an influx of Shanghai businessmen after Slovakia joins the Schengen area.
