Enel was recommended in October by the privatisation commission as the winner of the tender, while ČEZ was the runner-up.

Although the Ministry of Economy has already come to terms with Enel on the transaction, the cabinet has yet to declare a winner.

Rusko said that the final details of the privatisation would be worked out by December and ready for submission to the cabinet.

Enel offered €840 million for the SE stake; ČEZ offered €690 million.
