Slovakia's national air carrier, Slovenské Aerolínie (SA), has filed for bankruptcy and the Bratislava I District Court will decide within fifteen workdays whether there will be bankruptcy proceedings or not. Lucia Mikušková from the Bratislava I District Court confirmed that the bankruptcy motion, which was filed by the company itself on March 2, is already at the court's disposal. Afterwards, the court has five days in which to decide whether to announce bankruptcy proceedings and appoint a preliminary receiver of assets in bankruptcy. She added that the court might decide earlier than the official deadline.
