THE FILM Boredom in Brno (Nuda v Brně) won five awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Screenplay at the Český lev film awards. Želary, which was nominated for a Best Foreign Film Academy Award, received Best Lead Actress and Best Sound.
