Czech crown hits new record

THE CZECH crown, at parity with the Slovak currency following the division of Czechoslovakia in January 1993, on April 2 hit a record 1.40 against the Slovak crown on the back of strong foreign investment. The Slovak crown itself, however, also advanced to within .15 crowns of its record strength against the euro.
