More than 190,000 taxpayers postponed their deadline for submitting tax returns to June this year.
Since June 30 falls on a Sunday, the deadline is set for July 1, 2019.
“Natural persons – entrepreneurs are obliged to use electronic communication with tax offices,” stressed Peter Huba of the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisors (SKDP), as quoted by SITA.

Hence, taxpayers are obliged to send their tax returns using the website of the Financial Administration.
Taxes to be paid by July 1
Those who fail to submit their tax returns by the deadline may face a fine of between €30 to €16,000.
“I want to warn all the taxpayers that they also have to pay taxes within the deadline for submission of tax returns,” Huba added.
Those who have had any income from abroad in 2018 could ask for even further postponement, until September 30.
