EMBRACO Slovakia, a refrigerator- and freezer-components producer based in the eastern Slovak town of Spišská Nová Ves, will produce 3.6 million compressors this year, which is 70 percent more than last year.
The plant in Spišská Nová Ves has become the second largest factory within the Brazilian Embraco corporation.
Since launching operations in Slovakia in 1998, Embraco has invested Sk4.7 billion (€117 million), which is the largest investment within the corporation in recent years.
