ANTIVIRUS solutions by the Slovak company Eset will be distributed along with the hardware of the US company Intel, which is a deal of a lifetime for Eset, the Hospodárske Noviny (HN) daily reported.
“Several million Intel motherboards will be involved,” Martin Baranovič, public relations manager of Eset, told the HN. “It is an international deal which will come into effect in the first quarter of the next year.”
The new models of the Intel motherboard will be distributed together with Eset Smart Security and with 45-day and one-year licences.
“For example on the Russian and the Chinese market Eset will be set as the default antivirus solution,” Baranovič said.
Eset made a profit of €33 million last year and it ranks as the sixth largest antivirus system producer in the world.
