A selection commission in a tender for blood plasma firm Imuna Šarišské has recommended to the Privatisation Ministry that a bid from intermediary firm Eurostart Tradehouse be judged the winner of the tender. Three interested parties had submitted bids to purchase Imuna Šarišské by a June 29 deadline.
A new tender for the sale of state-owned Imuna was opened on May 25. Originally, the US-Slovak joint venture Interaqua was to buy the pharmaceuticals producer, but some ministers questioned the feasibility of the privatisation project and the tender result was cancelled.
